Our Spirituality

  • Jesus I Trust in You – Having experienced God’s Enduring Mercy ourselves, the Missionaries of Mercy are prepared to joyfully witness to it and to lead all to place their complete trust in Jesus, especially the neediest of the needy. They are the privileged bearers of the mystery of His presence and passion in the world today.

“Eternal God in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible look kindly upon us and increase your mercy in us.”
(Divine Mercy Chaplet)

Nemo dat quod non habet
No one can give what he does not have. Eternal God…increase your mercy in us.

  • Our witnessing to Divine Mercy is nourished by the Eucharist, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Communal and Private Prayer, Sacred Scripture, Devotion to Mary through the World Mission Rosary, and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. We are strengthened by the example, teachings and intercession of the Martyrs and the Saints, in particular St. Camillus de Lellis, St. Therese of Lisieux, St. Faustina and Saint John Paul the Great.

”That in difficult times we might not despair nor become despondent but with great confidence submit ourselves to your holy will which is love and mercy itself.”
(Divine Mercy Chaplet)

  • The Spirituality of  the Missionaries of Mercy – Jesus I trust in you! – is inspired by the Divine Mercy message. And it is lived out through a joy-filled witness and abandonment to Divine Mercy – like little children before their merciful Father. Sr. Faustina’s spirituality and that of the Little Flower with her “little way” are particularly informative of the spirituality of the Missionaries as are the writings and the lives of St. John Paul the Great, St. Camillus de Lellis, and the Venerable Fulton J Sheen.
